I received my first musical education in the Dresden Boys' Choir under the direction of Manfred Winter, where I already took on soloist tasks as a boy.
I passed my Abitur in the music special class of the Lessinggymnasium Hoyerswerda, which was led in a special way by Dora Gebauer.
Immediately afterwards I studied voice and voice pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik "Carl-Maria von Weber" Dresden with Prof. Christian Elßner and Prof. Christiane Junghanns, which I finished with the soloist exam of the concert class.
During my studies and for several years beyond, I sang in the Dresden Chamber Choir under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann, an artistically formative time.
In the meantime I have been a guest on numerous renowned concert stages in Germany and abroad. For example, at the Bach Festivals in Leipzig, Köthen and Eisenach, the Handel Festivals in Halle and Göttingen, the Dresden Music Festival, Telemann Festival Magdeburg or La Folle Journée Tokyo.
My repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to the Modern, but I am particularly fond of sacred music and the great oratorios of the Baroque and Classical periods.
I have worked with conductors such as Marcus Creed, Iván Fischer, Paul Goodwin, Ludwig Güttler, Daniel Harding, René Jacobs, Paavo Järvi, Matthias Jung, Peter Kopp, Roderich Kreile, Hermann Max, Roger Norrington, Hans-Christoph Rademann and Daniel Reuss, as well as with ensembles such as the Dresdner Kammerchor, Dresdner Kreuzchor, Sächsisches Vocalensemble, Händelfestspielorchester Halle, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Capella de la Torre, Rias Kammerchor, Vocalconsort Berlin, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Kammerorchester Basel, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.
In the field of opera, guest engagements have taken me to the Landesbühnen Sachsen and the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden, among others, where I debuted in 2013 with the main role in Jörg Herchet's opera "Zueinander".
In artistic matters I have been advised for many years by the Dresden vocal coach Karin Mitzscherling.
