Tobias Eduard Schick (*1985) studied composition in Dresden and Rome with Mark Andre, Ernst Helmuth Flammer and Manos Tsangaris, among others, electronic music with Franz Martin Olbrisch, as well as double bass and piano.
In 2017, he received his doctorate with a musicological thesis on world references in the music of Mathias Spahlinger. Publications include publication series and journals such as Musik-Konzepte, Musik & Ästhetik, Archiv für Musikwissenschaft or MusikTexte.
