I was a member of the Dresden Kreuzchor and gained solo experience already as a boy soprano. I studied singing at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden with Prof. Christiane Junghanns and KS Olaf Bär (Lied class). In 2005 I made my debut as Figaro at the Lausitzer Opernsommer. This was followed in 2007 by the leading role in the Schlüsseloper (premiere) by W. Krätzschmar and in 2008/09 by Papageno in The Magic Flute. The focus of my concert activities throughout Germany is on oratorio and lied. I am particularly interested in the tension between historical performance practice and contemporary music. Collaboration with various ensembles and festivals, diverse concert tours as well as CD and radio recordings round off my singing activities.
